Movies I Think Everyone Should See

Today I was thinking about my favorite movies. If someone were to ask me I don't think I could give you one. I have lots of favorites. I'll try to condense this into a small list. If you're bored over the break you should rent one or two you haven't seen.

-The Royal Tennanbaums: The best movie I've seen in the last 4 years. Turned me on to other Wes Anderson films.

-Dirty Dancing: Most people think I'm joking about this one. . . I'm not. It has the best line of any movie ever, "Nobody puts baby in the corner".

-Field of Dreams- This one could never get old. It was before Kevin Cosner did movies
like Water World and the Post Man

-The Wedding Singer: It's a bit of a chick flick, nonetheless a great movie. Killer soundtrack too. Most Adam Sandler movies could be on this list. Happy Gilmore changed my life.

-Forest Gump: I saw this with my grandparents in theaters back in 1994, Christina was 5.

-The Natural: The best baseball movie ever, plus Robert Redford is just so dreamy. Major League and The Sandlot fall close behind.

-Vision Quest: It's about wrestling, and LIFE! It's from the 80's. Madonna makes a cameo :)

-Stand By Me: One of the many inspirations for our walk to Winco. The Story of Lard Ass is a significant part of Gibson family history.

-Flight of the Navigator: Probably my favorite move between the ages of 4-7.

-Disney's Robin Hood(You know the fox one): I thought I was Robin Hood for at least 10 years of my life

-Away We Go: I was in need of a good movie when I saw this one. . . It was a good movie.

-Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind: The best love story ever. I cried and I don't cry
