Done, Finished, Gone, Goodby, Adios

I'm done student teaching. I'm going to miss the kiddos of Hillcrest High School. Teaching at the school were Ford Erickson once walked the halls was a pleasure. It was a really great experience. I didn't feel like I was ready to be a teacher before I started, now I feel really confident and ready to have my own classroom and teach. I really enjoyed interacting with the kids. There's no greater feeling than people thinking your hilarious. @ThomeWiddison knows what I mean.
Besides being really funny, I really enjoyed teaching. I probably learned more than the students.

We graduate in a few weeks. That's crazy. I never thought I'd finish especially starting almost 6 1/2 years ago. Embarrassing I know, but I didn't know what I wanted to do for almost have of that time.
I'm really going to miss this place. We're moving to Oklahoma for the summer. We have some good leads for jobs and we feel like this is the right thing to do. I'm going to be a life guard and Xtina is going to work at the concession stand at the pool and maybe help old people work out. Hopefully by the end of the summer I'll have a job somewhere.

Music news:
Listen to the new Andrew Bird album, Break it Yourself. Also, I've been listing to Josh Ritter a lot.

It would seem that I quit blogging. Maybe I have. I'm sorry for that. Also who am I writing to right now. Weird. Anyway. 2012 has been a big one so far. I'm student teaching. It's going really good, better than I expected. I really thought It would be a painful, unforgiving experience, but I love it. The kids are great, I really like what I'm teaching. I'm learning a ton.
Me and Xtina both graduate in April, then its so long Rexburg. I think we're ready to go. I do like it here, but I've been in school entirely too long and 4 hours from Whole Foods is unacceptable.
On another note this election stuff reminds me every day why I'm a democrat. Thank you Grandpa & Jed.

This has already been a good year for music. New Damien Jurado is off the chain. Also, First Aid Kit's new album blows me away. Check em both out.
