As The Days Keep Turning Into Nights

We saw Away We Go on Saturday night. It was a really great movie. Hopefully it will come to Idaho Falls and most of you can go see it too.

Breezy

Move your slender fingers,
help me play this song.
Spend another night inside this rented mansion.
I love you now,
I know that doesn't matter.
I love you now,
I know that doesn't matter.

Kissing me full of beer, tequila, weed and candy.
Walking down the boardwalk,
act like we were married.
You always made it easy,
then I'd want you more.
You always kept it easy,
then I'd want you more.

Too smart for your own good,
too sweet, too logical.
Statistics round your head,
tried to teach me about baseball.
My favourite was the part when they make it home.
I like it when they steal, and when they make it home.

You left us with a sorrow too unreal to help.
Heard the birds sound broadcasts speakers at the Phoenix hotel.
All your friends are standing, crying, on the sidewalk.
All your boyfriends, they were standing crying on the sidewalk.

Breezy, I feel dizzy.
Can you help me up?
It's crowded at the backdoor,
how we getting to the burbs?
I'd like to help you find it if there's something better.
Yeah, I'll try and help you find it if there's something better.

Move your slender fingers,
help me play this song.
Spend another night inside this practice mansion.
I love you now,
I know that's all that matters.
I love you now
and I know that's all that matters.

I Choose . . .

Great Weekend. It was top 5 for sure. There have been some epic weekends this semester. We went down to see Conor Oberst in Salt Lake. We left early Saturday Morning got some sleep as the sun was coming up. Thome woke us up at 930, but no big deal I was really never too tired. Farmer's Market in the Rain. I ate lobster for the first time(it's debatable if it really was my first time). Walked around some more in the rain. Went to 7-11 and scored a free Rolling Stone. Rested a little. Went back to 7-11.
Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band were great. I don't want to describe it and ruin it. He played all my favorites.
I really believe that they are one of the best American rock bands touring right now.
Watched Science of Sleep.
We might have slept in and missed church, but we really needed the rest. We went to Liberty Park and rode on the flying swings. Watched the drum circle and saw a dog that weighed more than me.
I ate a cookie ice cream sandwich and it was just as good as I remembered.
Whole foods is one of my new favorite stores (I'm not lying).
Christina stalked me in the gas station.
Wonderful ride back to Rexburg. I really enjoy our drives back.

Please, Just Listen

This is one of my better musical discoveries of late. Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson. The song is Buriedfed. It's worth the 5 min. It has such an amazing buildup.

Survey?

I've never filled out one of these survey things. I've always thought they were really stupid and TO BE HONEST, Girly. But I really feel like I need to support my friend Leah, so here you go. I did it. For the first time in my interned endeavors I've filled out a survey.
1. What's your favorite non-food/ supporting food (e.g. ice cream cones (the cone itself), whipped cream, marshmallow creme)? Little Debbie Brownies. Every day before high school I would have one for breakfast, along with a Dr. Pepper.
2. Favorite book pre-high school? Choose your own Adventure Books. My favorites were the Young Indiana Jones Series. I would have put Sports Illustrated, but its not a book. Go figure 3. Whose handwriting do you envy? Easy Question. Nobodies. Shoot! In elementary school from 1st grade until 5th grade I won the boy penmanship award. When I won my first award back in 1991 I smelled blood from there on out and refused to let any boy or girl for that matter write better than me. I think my skills have diminished somewhat, but I still love my handwriting. It's manly, legible and nice to look at.
4. What does your blog title mean/ where did it come from?
I write about my friends a lot. I love The Beatles. I put them together
5. Favorite chore (or least hated): I love doing dishes. My mom and I would always do dishes together. At work I always do the dishes. Everyone hates dishes, but for some strange reason I like doing them. At work especially because I can go in the back and turn on my music and not help up front.
6. What's your favorite kind of chip (baking and dipping)? Baking: Just plain ole chocolate chip
Dipping: The Marry Piglets in Jackson Hole, WY has the best tortilla chips on the planet.
7. Favorite animal (mythological and real)? Mythological:Falkor The Luckdragon from the Neverending Story
Real: Bigfoote. He's part human but so are monkeys

That secret that you know That you don't know how to tell

Well I met you at the blood bank
We were looking at the bags
Wondering if any of the colors
Matched any of the names we knew on the tags

You said see look it that's yours
Stacked on top with your
brothers
See how they resemble one anothers?
Even in their plastic little covers

And I said I know it well

That secret that you know
That you don't know how to tell
it f--ks with your honor
And it teases your head
But you know that its good girl
Cause its running you with red.

Then the snow started falling
We were stuck out in your
car
You were rubbing both my hands
Chewing on a candy bar
you said ain't this just like the present
To be showing up like this
There's a moon waning crescent
we started to kiss

And I said I know it well

That secret that we know
That we don't know how to tell
I'm in love with your honor
I'm in love with your cheeks
what's that noise up the stairs baby
Is that Christmas morning

And I know it well

Words of Wisdom from Elder Jedidiah Aaron Gibson

This week has been a great week, I have been very busy and many wonderful things are happening in the mountain.
I think heavenly father stopped last weeks email from going through, because I was really down and pretty depressed. But that is life, if we don't have bad weeks, how will we ever know the good weeks. It was just I felt so very overwhelmed last week, every one we were teaching seemed to be falling apart and they decided to call us to try and sort that out. There are a lot of things they do not teach you in the MTC, they need do to a crash course at marriage counseling and how to deal with everyone's problems. But I think I am learning how to deal with alot of life's many challenges, and it seems to me the only answer for every problem is the gospel of Jesus Christ.
So I never told you about my trip to the Valley I don' t think. Well meeting Richard G Scott was a real thrill. We all got to go shake his hand and tell him where we were from, then he gets up in front of the whole mission and says in all his travels he has heard of every place every missionary is from except a Miami Oklahoma, so it looks like ol Jedidiah is putting exit 313 on the map along with Steve Owens.
Well transfers are next week, I have no idea what will happen, my mission president told me he didn't see any reason to make a change, but he said he didn't know what the lord had in store, so I have no Idea. Some days I am ready for a change, then others I want to stay and see how these people end up that I am teaching, I should have some wedding's/ baptisms coming up, which I am way excited for. I have been teaching families lately and it is such a wonderful experience to watch the gospel change a family.
I am truly loving my mission, it is the hardest and best thing I believe I ever done, I feel the prayers from all of you and they strengthen me.

Love always,
Jedidiah

Salt Lake City

I wish I didn't have to go to school and do homework. I would be a lot happier if I had all the same friends, but we all lived in Salt Lake. I could just get off work and hang out and not worry about anything else.
We could even go to a show or something and not have to travel three hours, just a couple of blocks.
